Every school year West Side Montessori administers the Annual Enhancement Fund with dedicated volunteer support from parents, staff, and grandparents. The tax deductible donations received are used for enhancements over and above budgeted school program needs. The money is available to the school for immediate use by classrooms or as designated by the donor.

For private schools the Annual Enhancement Fund is a historic fundraising program and is considered to be a crucial and integral mainstay of institutional advancement. An important distinction between West Side’s Annual Enhancement Fund and many other private school’s annual campaigns is donations made are not used to support the annual operation of the school. Donations are used solely for program enhancements that directly support the students.

Last year, Annual Enhancement money was used for the following and more:
• Tuition Assistance
• Volleyball System at Bancroft
• American Montessori Society Conference Attendance Fees
• Classroom Items
• Professional Development for Teachers
